Weingarten Realty Mobilizes Their Workforce with Access to Mission-Critical Data
Weingarten Realty (WRI) is one of the nation’s premier real estate investment trusts. They own, manage, acquire, develop and redevelop strategically located neighborhood and community shopping centers. Their national footprint encompasses major metropolitan markets across the United States.
In keeping with their Real Estate for Everyday Retail focus, WRI asked Smartbridge to design and build a mobile application to provide users with access to their tenants’ contacts. From this basic request, the foundation of BASE was laid.
BASE is an iOS application written in Xamarin which integrates with JD Edwards via the AIS REST services. It provides offline access to detailed information about properties, team members, tenants, leases, lease contacts and AR summaries. Whether WRI users are in the office or on-site at one of their hundreds of properties across the country, BASE mobilizes their workforce with quick access to mission-critical data.
