A 3,000+ unit quick service restaurant brand was dealing with a proliferation of analytical tools that various business departments initiated on their own. This eventually grew into a large amount of inefficient and difficult-to-support reporting content, not to mention hefty licensing fees for tools with unrecognized value.
Smartbridge was brought in to focus on one area of standardization, reporting and self-service analytics migration with an extremely tight timeline and challenging circumstances, which included lost tribal knowledge of the current state reporting.
Smartbridge deployed a team of resources to assess the functional and technical aspects of the reporting and requirements before planning the engagement. Through collaboration and expert experience, Smartbridge led the joint project team in the successful delivery and execution of the project.
This project provided several benefits to our client, including reduced effort in report production, a venture which now takes hours to complete instead of days. This also established enterprise-supportable process and content for our clients use. Altogether, the restaurant saved over $600,000 annually in licensing expense as a result of the data migration.
