Yearnings for a more flexible work environment (34 percent), dedicated time to acquire new skills (32 percent), and a greater focus on critical tasks during the workday (27 percent) resonated deeply among the respondents.

Comparatively, just over half of Gen X workers (1965-1980) and a modest 44 percent of Baby Boomers (1946-1964) share this progressive mindset.
