Mobility and the Cloud give users instant access to needed information, from where ever the use is. It fulfills the human need for instant gratification.

Most have heard the term “SaaS” which is an acronym for Software as a Service, but what most don’t know is that there are actually 3 key components of these “as a Service” offerings from cloud applications:
- Infrastructure as a Service
- Platforms as a Service
- Software as a Service
To define each is to understand the versatility of Cloud computing.
Benefits of the Cloud: You don’t have to be a technology expert to use it. How does the cloud affect capital expenditures?
Drawbacks of the Cloud: You still need to have broad a technology aptitude in order to manage it. How will this affect executive decision making for those who are not technology savvy?
My suggestion to decision makers is, if you’re gonna commit to something – commit to it. Get behind it.
