Energy Services Client Gets the Red Stack Treatment During JDE Tools Upgrade

Smartbridge recently completed a major Oracle JD Edwards Tools upgrade and systems infrastructure conversion for a Fortune 1000 US-based energy services and engineering company.

In order to lower maintenance costs, and improve support capabilities, Smartbridge helped the client covert to a complete Red Stack architecture. This included implementation of Oracle Linux, Exadata, PCA, and Weblogic. Leveraging Oracle PCA virtual management capabilities, the customer has streamlined maintenance, reducing the time to create a new path code from the ground up in 6 hours. Disaster recovery cut-over times were also improved, allowing for fail-over to the DR site in less than 1 hour.
