Primary Objective

As part of a larger strategic menu redesign project, our client was looking for a cloud analytics partner to assist with migrating to Azure cloud and modernizing their data warehouse and reporting solution, which was primarily SSIS and SSRS.

Key Challenges

The business demands (needs, requirements) were not being addressed with the supply (technology, people) fast enough. The old legacy infrastructure and architecture were hindering the ability to scale and meet the demand. Significant infrastructure and services investments were necessary to maintain the on-premise status quo.

Our client evaluated several partners and selected Smartbridge to modernize the data and reporting infrastructure on the cloud.

Solution

Smartbridge assembled a team of onshore and offshore cloud BI specialists, established the Azure data infrastructure, migrated data integrations to Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Databricks, as well as created reports and dashboards using Power BI.

Results

The Azure data migration and Power BI reporting were successfully implemented. This has instilled the confidence and assurance in our client that we will be able to assist with any future data and analytics needs that may arise.
