Salesforce Goes All-In on AI

We are used to Salesforce products going through name changes, but this week’s rebranding of Sales Cloud and Service Cloud to Agentforce Sales and Agentforce Service signals a strategic shift towards embracing Agentic AI.

Salesforce has identified and demonstrated the power of Agentic AI via hundreds of use cases. While customer adoption may take some time, Salesforce was successful in convincing the audience that AI technology is mature and ready to help whenever the users are.

2.

A framework for Measuring AI Maturity & Readiness

Salesforce introduced a robust AI Maturity Model for organizations to plan their AI journey. What impressed me the most was the definition of readiness factors to check the readiness for AI:

  • Strategy
  • Security & Guardrails
  • Technology
  • Culture/Expertise
  • Data Foundation

I am looking forward to tailoring Smartbridge’s services to suit our customers’ AI readiness level.

Data 360 (Data Cloud) Solves the Data Puzzle

Many organizations rely on enterprise data platforms like Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, or Databricks. Contrary to popular belief, Data 360 is not an alternative to those technologies. It solves the problem of unifying customer data across various internal and external data sources without complex data engineering. Data 360 is an essential part of the Agentforce ecosystem.

4.

Agentforce Life Sciences: A Major Leap Forward

Salesforce continues to invest heavily in the Healthcare and Life Sciences (HLS) vertical. The latest release of Agentforce Life Sciences Cloud is packed with features tailored for Pharma and MedTech, including:

  • Account Planning for account-based sales
  • Visit Summaries for HCP engagement
  • AI-powered iPad app with Gen AI and text-to-speech
  • Validation framework with audit-compliant documentation

5.

Real-World Impact: Case Studies that Stood Out

Many real-life case studies were presented at Dreamforce 2025. Two case studies specifically caught my attention:

  • McKessen used the Salesforce ecosystem to fully automate the Customer Onboarding process. Reduced the customer onboarding time from 17 days to 3 minutes and reduced the customer drop-off rate by 68%.

  • Salesforce used Data 360, Marketing Cloud, and Machine Learning to personalize the Dreamforce attendee experience.

6.

Flawless Execution at Scale

Pulling off a 4-day event with 50,000+ attendees and hundreds of sessions is no small task. Salesforce manages to do that year after year with a top-notch customer experience. I thoroughly enjoyed everything from easy badge pickup with facial recognition to a wild Metallica concert. Kudos to the Salesforce events team for a job well done.
