SALESFORCE DATA ANALYTICS SERVICES

Do you need to take your Salesforce Analytics further?

For many small organizations, out-of-the-box analytics built into your Salesforce Sales or Service Cloud subscription may be sufficient. However, as you begin to require a more comprehensive view of performance, and drive more strategic, data-driven decisions, it’s easy to outgrow the default dashboards.

Considering analytics beyond the basic out-of-the-box features that Salesforce offers is important for several reasons, especially as your organization’s needs grow in complexity. Smartbridge data & Salesforce experts classify every analytics need into one of three types:

Salesforce Data Analytics Services

ADVANCED ANALYTICS FOR SALESFORCE CRM DATA

When we go deeper in the data, we can start asking questions like, “Is our Sales pipeline healthy?” and “How does the sales process vary for leads across different customer segments?”

You can start to answer some of these questions by using the built-in visualizations within Salesforce, but it’s best to explore this data with tools like Power BI or Tableau. To do this, bringing your data into your data warehouse, lake house or central repository is going to be a necessary step. From there, analysts will have more flexibility to slice up the data as they need and/or scientists to build models on top of the data as they need.

Let’s see what we can do with your Salesforce data when you combine it with a powerhouse like Microsoft Power BI or Salesforce Tableau.

ADVANCED ANALYTICS FOR ALL ENTERPRISE DATA SOURCES

To truly need to get the most out of your CRM data, you need to supplement it with data from other systems.

For example, let’s say you manufacture and distribute bicycles, and you just completed a sale to ship 50 bikes to a retailer. Your sale is all logged in Salesforce, but what happens after the sale?

What are the delivery costs?  Did you have to procure any materials in order to fulfill the order? How many shipments do you have planned from your warehouse that day? Did you hit your margin targets for the sale?

Being able to answer these questions, means you have a 360 degree view of your business, and can piece together all of the different data sources you need to be successful.
